I would have been fine if I didn't pay for this. Support is none existent and the page seems outdated. The iPhone instructions are old. It doesn't connect outside of my home and you get kicked off. I have contacted them several times with no response. When you do get a response it just says they received your request.
- No support - Lousy website - Can't connect to servers I sent a support ticket and followup, got zero response. The minimal instructions on their website don't work to get a connection setup. Don't waste your time.
I cannot recommend anyone use AnonVPN, due to their apparently non-existent support. AnonVPN is cheap, slow (maxed at ~200 kB/sec on my 10 mB/sec internet), has apparently non-existent support, and their servers drop me regularly. My connections did stay up when I was first using their service (2-3 years ago), so there's that.. (I have no connection issues with other VPN providers.) Lately their servers are consistently dropping after 1-2 hours, then automatically reconnecting after a few seconds/minutes. This happens with any of their servers, although some take a little longer to drop me than others. I speculate that their servers are overloaded due to overselling their service and so they are forced to regularly drop earlier connections so that they aren't just outright denying new peoples' connections. This isn't really an issue with say, torrents, but with (online) games, it's .. bad. I put in a ticket with them in early August (almost two months ago) and have heard nothing back. I've responded twice to the original ticket, trying to 'remind' them, to no avail. If their servers never dropped me, the utter lack of service wouldn't necessarily be an issue, especially for the 'subscription free' price I paid. I bought one of the cheap lifetime sub packages they were doing a few years ago, so it's basically free at this point. I'm guessing they oversold their service. Even then, though, the speeds were never fast. They'd cap at maybe 200 kB/sec. I have 10 mB/sec internet. I recommend using a more established VPN service.
