Their Terms and Conditions state they do not keep log files of your actual IP address or sites accessed; and they do not sell your information for money. They are supposed to be paid by premium accounts and the ads generated which, like I previously stated I haven't really seen much of. Final Verdict — Worth a Try Betternet has multiple features that make it a decent option. Its speed, ability to work with local streaming platforms, and robust security features impressed me. However, I wasn’t comfortable with the amount of data it logs and the fact that its privacy policy hasn’t been audited by a third party.
